Power on your display device and make sure it is tuned to the input that your HD DVD Player is connected to. | |

On your HD DVD remote control Press "SETUP". |  |

Select "General" from the On Screen Menu. |  |

Select "Maintenance" from the On Screen Menu. |  |

Select "Update" from the On Screen Menu. |  |

The software version is displayed underneath the word Update. |  |
